Douz Festival : Held on a yearly basis, towards the end of the year, the Douz Festival is an opportunity for every visitor to discover the traditional life of nomads. In addition to fencing and fantasias (traditional horse race) shows, the Festival features hare chases by the retriever pedigree dog (known as "Slougui"), as well as meharies (dromedary riding).
